When to use this converter
Convert a still iPhone photo when an editor requires PNG. PNG does not recover detail lost in HEIC, and the resulting file may be larger. Choose HEIC to JPG for general photo sharing.

Frequently asked questions
Are my images uploaded?
No. Your images stay on your device and are processed by your browser. They are never uploaded to a server, and you do not need an account.
Why is there no preview before conversion?
Many browsers cannot display HEIC directly. You may see a HEIC placeholder until conversion finishes. The HEIC decoder loads only when you process a HEIC photo.
Are Live Photos and image sequences supported?
No. This tool supports a single static image. Image sequences and files with multiple primary frames are rejected. Use a still photo exported from your photo library.
Does PNG preserve transparency?
Yes. PNG keeps transparent areas and saves the decoded image without further lossy compression. It cannot restore detail already lost in the original. Conversion may change color profiles, bit depth or metadata, so original HDR and photo details are not guaranteed to be kept.
Which files can I convert?
Use static images: up to 20 files per batch, 20 MiB per file, 25 megapixels and 10,000 pixels per dimension. Animated and multi-frame images are not supported. Files are checked by their contents, not just their names.
