Are my images uploaded?
No. Your images stay on your device and are processed by your browser. They are never uploaded to a server, and you do not need an account.
Is JPG smaller than PNG?
JPG often saves photographs in less space, but size depends on the image and quality setting. Logos and text may show compression artifacts. Transparent areas become white.
What happens to transparency and metadata?
JPG places transparent areas on white. Conversion usually removes metadata and may change color profiles. Keep your originals; HDR and metadata preservation are not guaranteed.
Which files can I convert?
Use static images: up to 20 files per batch, 20 MiB per file, 25 megapixels and 10,000 pixels per dimension. Animated and multi-frame images are not supported. Files are checked by their contents, not just their names.
